I wasn't gonna enter this challenge...couldn't think of anything remotely funny. Here's how I'm doing:

the most depressing thing about this challenge is people that took normal photos and then tried to make them funny by giving the shot a catchy title. if you did this your getting an automatic score of 1 from me. This is a photo contest not a "give that photo a funny caption" contest... sheesh! calgon take me away!

A blind favorite, must be doing something right. Unfortuately my score's fallen. Still, 16 comments in a day with a score about 3 I'd imagine is a good thing. So I can't complain. |

Yeah I know what you mean, any I rated well were good PICTURES. It's happening in the Low Tech contest too, I think captions can add to the picture but when a caption is needed to a)make a picture funny or b)Tell the viewer what they're actually looking at it's kinda off.

Thanks for the one then, I'm sure that is how you looked at my shot. Honestly, you have to find humor where you can and look at the 2nd place shot in the last humor contest, without the title it's just a shot of a plant dipping into a glass, nothing particularly funny about that to me but it's the title that makes the shot.

| Just got back from Idaho, using in-laws computer to enter humorII & low-tech. Didn't realize how different they would look. No wonder I'm doing badly, they deserve it. I agree, humor on this sight must be lacking, must be the election blues for some or something. I think mine is quite funny, others think the opposite. Oh well. Van |
