just to be absolutely sure that i can crop in the Dwellings II challenge which is minimal ..

Extra Rules: You may ROTATE and/or CROP your image: all other Minimal Editing rules apply.

it might seem silly that i ask .. but i didnt even realize that cropping was allowed in minimal .. is this a new thing for this challenge .. :)

I agree. I think Minimal challenges force us to be better photographers. Like those people who used or still shoot film. They have my admiration and I feel they are better (generally speaking), than those who shoot digital. I know there are exceptions, but as a rule ...

Crop/rotation is only allowed when specifically mentioned -- that's why those are listed under the "Extra Rules" section for this challenge.
