Born in Oxford, England, now in Yokohama area of Japan, very soon to be back in the UK, but no idea where! After seeing some beautiful pictures of Scotland on this site, I am very tempted.

Hey...
I'm not a lumberjack,
or a fur trader...
and I don't live in an igloo
or eat blubber, or own a dogsled...
and I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada,
although I'm certain they're really, really nice.
I have a Prime Minister,
not a President.
I speak English and French,
NOT American.
and I pronouce it 'about',
NOT 'a boot'.
I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack.
I believe in peace keeping, NOT policing.
diversity, NOT assimilation,
and that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal.
A toque is a hat,
a chesterfield is a couch,
and it is pronouced 'zed' not 'zee', 'zed'!!
Canada is the second largest landmass!
The first nation of hockey!
And the best part of North America!
My name is James!!
And I Am Canadian!!!

Born in Zimbabwe of Dutch parents, I have lived in New Zealand, Holland and most of my life in South Africa. For the last 3 years I am living on the tiny little island in the south west Indian Ocean called Mauritius.

I'm a native New Yorker! :-) Born and raised in the Apple...Bronx to be exact. I've lived in California for a short while. Spent all my adult life in beautiful upstate NEw York in the Adirondack Mountain wilderness, the Catskill Mountains, and the Hudson Valley.
If you haven't been to NY's mountains, do yourself a favor! It is gorgeous, with clean, crisp air and grand vistas, wildlife, and forests.
I now live along the Treasure Coast of the Sunshine State...Florida. Enjoying the new adventures. :-)

I'm living in Germany, in the northern part.
It's acctually very close (1 hour drive) to the city of Braunschweig, which gave New Brunswick the name as far as I know.
When monarchy was still established in Germany the place where I live belonged to the principality of Brauschweig, so please count me as someone from Old Bruswick |
