I am kicking myself now...right squarely in the arse...after not submitting one of these and going with something more unique and different. I should know better by now than to do that! LOL ;o)

You're not alone! I already beat you to it with my post! And I even added a second photo in case I hadn't felt sorry enough for myself already!!! LOL Seriously, these are beautiful shots - but I will bet that you will do wonderfully with your "unique and different" entry that we will all get to enjoy, too. I am going to add some comments individually.

I also passed up a few sunset pics. I thought then, and still do, that they would have to be something very special to do well here as they are very common. Now this one:
it is much more unique. Great shot. |
