Yes, I know, it's another cat photo...
But he really is a good model, and puts up with the flashes far better that many humans I know.
This is almost straight out of the camera. Just spot edited an annoying refection in the left eye (his left, not yours), cropped to square, scaled it for the web, then USM'd it a wee bit. Shot under a softbox keylight and brolly off to the right (yours, not his) for fill.
To give you an idea how good he is for a model, I actually got away with shifting the soft box, and using a flash meter in front of his nose while I was doing this. On top of that, his sitting fee was just some cat food, and a good scratch behind the ears!!
Any and all comments welcome, I'll pass them onto Clyde (The cat).
Cheers, Chris H.

Very nice shot - well lit, crisp, detailed and he does really look like a professional. : ) |

I like the pay rate :) and really like the detail and expression you've captured in the portrait! He looks a real character.

And even better, he dosn't sting/bite like your last model does (the wasp) although he has been known to do a nasty drool on your hands.

I opened this thread thinking, '"another", we don't get that many as it is', only to find a cat!
Great, clear shot. Maybe the background could have been more interesting. |

Thanks for the comments folks,
The background is a large sheet of white paper, as I was settin up to do some product shots, and Clyde wanted to play, as any bit of paper sitting on the floor is by default his in our house.

Must confess, he even looks a little like my own little prince of darkness, Jarvis.
Even has that weird vicar-like dog collar thing going on... not much of a pink nose though... |
