Finally, I submit an entry that''s getting a few "one of the better of the week" comments - AND (IMHO) I even agree - but the score just creeping lower and lower :(
---- then again, it''s hard to wrap your head around the fact that your entries can get BOTH votes of "10" AND "1" for the same photo ...(?)

I feel you're pain!!!!
I started at 6.111 and now I'm down to 5.774 :-( I was soooo excited to be over 6 and it seems every couple of hours it just keeps going down - kinda like the market!!

Even photos that have placed (including my Panache photo!) rec'd 1's.
A matter of personal taste, perspective. Not that I understand a 1 for a photo the general population seems to like - including first place winners - but, hey! who am I? :-)
As Hokie fondly points out: Maybe we are "tilted" and maybe that's okay!
(LOL!)

How on earth could anyone give Panache a 1 !!! I'm shocked. I understand that everyone sees things from a different perspective, but come on...good is good.

Liberty and Justice (which, by the way, is the #1 favorite px on this site!): 7
Orange Symphony: 3
Etc....
These and others were all fabulous shots!
But, like I said before: there's no accounting for some people. I know that sounds like I am judging (maybe I am) but it perplexes me. Anyway, the good thing is those votes are very few, and the majority rules!

Doesn't matter what happens now - I just got a signed "10" from a moderator - that's almost as good as a blue ribbon :)

Yep, dpchallenge...its not for wimps. Maybe they need to place a disclaimer somewhere: If you don't enjoy the fundamental principals of skydiving, perhaps this site is not for you.
My score has been freefalling from the opening bell. I'm still waiting for the chute to open. (or to land on a trampoline ' - )
