Here's an idea that I plan to try in the upcoming free study challenge...

I have used the photographer's comments box to do several things:

1. Talk about my photo
2. Talk about my title
3. Describe my post processing in as much detail as possible
4. Discuss how I think the photo could be improved
5. Anticipations of negative comments
6. Estimated Score and why I think the guess will be accurate
7. Disclose the lens I used
8. Post the EXIF data

Number 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 make up a self critique of the image. In #1, I discussed why the photo has significance to me and what it is all about. In #2, I explained why I chose the title as I did. In #4, I evaluated the photo in my own eyes and listed ways I think the photo could be better. In #5, I anticipated negative comments that I may receive from voters. In #6, I guessed at what my final score will be and why.

My goal is to use #4 and #5 to see if I can sum up everything that I would get in response from the challenge voters.

After you have been around DPC for a while, you can start to anticipate the types of comments you will receive. In my beginning challenges at DPC, I learned a LOT from the comments and used that to try to improve over time.

Give this a try and see whether or not you can guess at the comments and score you will receive.

Don't post it here.. post it in your comments with your challenge submission :)
