I submitted the following image for a DPC Print. I was wondering if you guys think it's worthy...

Looks fine to me...
You may want to reconsider your title and signature on this image. You need to consider how that will look if the image is matted/framed.

well, as for the sig, I can scan in a digital signature, but what do you suggest for a title. I hate titling my work.

IMO is a great photograph. The perspective differs from most butterfly photographs with both wings at 12:00 drawing my eyes to the wings [maybe your title should be about the wings]. As far as the image I think it is great and I feel butterfly lovers and others will purchase it. But I do on the other hand agree with jmsetzler, you need to rethink the title and make your copyright less noticeable. So that when one stands back and looks at the photograph their eye will not be drawn to the copyright. |

Just a little feedback... I would suggest cropping the top and bottom. You can crop the leaf off the top as it's distracting, and cropping the bottom would remove the signature (unless you really want to leave it there).
Anyway, bare minimum I'd get rid of the leaf at the top.
It also looks like it might have been oversharpened... if you still have the original you might try a little less sharpening.

Great photo and it would make a great print. I agree with the over sharpened comment and croping a little off the top. I like the leaves, but that's just me.
