I would have taken it from more of an angle (closer to head on) to insure the viewer picked up the implied line. Cool concept, nice colors.

The reason I thought that way is that it would seem the name of the challenge at that point would just be "lines". If physical objects placed in a row does not make a "real" line, than what does? I thought they meant something that kind of happens by accident, but that your eye could perceive as being a line, even though there was no intention. |

Think of it this way.
Take a pencil.. draw a line. You have an actual line.
Now take that pencil, and make a series of dots, about 1/2 inch apart for about 10 inches. Now you have an implied line. Now you can pick the paper up and change the angle and perspective to make that series of dots go further apart, and closer together.. and your eye will start to see it as more or less of a line depending on the percieved distance of the dots.. that is an implied line.
However, that's also just *my* definition. It's clear from the challenge that many people have differing opinions, and this is going to be a very strange scoring challenge.. I think.

I like it (though I'm not sure what's in the rightmost position). However, I agree with Andy that this would have been nicer at an angle showing perspective. |

I like both of these! The first perhaps the best, but the second one is an interesting composition as well. |

Actually based it off this.
"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."

I would have done something like that but I lost my marbles years ago.
(Sorry, I can never resist a bad pun.)
