I need a book full of photos, each one including explanations as to WHAT is good/bad about it. I want concrete examples of good (and possibly bad) composition, lighting, exposure etc. I need to have my nose rubbed in WHY one pic turned out great, yet the other didn't.
Any suggestions, please? |

There's bunches of unwritten books on this site. Pick a challenge and go read all the comments. Start with the lowest score and work your way up. Add comments of your own. pm the photographer and ask them questions. Come back to the forums and ask more questions. And it's all free for the taking. |

Until you get the book, won't you consider visiting these sites? They might help explain a lot visually.

It helps quite a bit with apertures and shutter.

Everything else.
