for class I had to make a "cd cover" for an indipendent novel project. Useing a picture I took just for this project and pictures from the book(the title and writers name) that I took I came up with this. I'm not anywhere close to professional but I was wondering what you guys thought...

Nice looking Image.

I like the colours and the curvature of the font.

One of the purposes of the CD Cover is too have impact - which you have achieved. Another is effective communication its is here that I am focussing.

The lettering is a little too faint making it difficult to read at first glance.

A bolder font should address this..

thankyou!
I think the fact that they are not computer generated fonts might play a role in that. I opened the book to the title page and took a picture of the title and then I curved the page up just a little and took a picture of the writers name. then through some editing merged them all into one image. that may be part of the problem I'll see what I can do

It looks great with one exception, the text is too close to the edges. Should allow a little space between text and edge.

It makes me want to see what it is about. Good job. I agree about the text being to close to the edge.
