Since the most successful threads are always the ones where people are asked to post their own photographs (why would that be?), I thought I'd start one.
Post your favourite challenge entry (or the one which scored highest), which met the challenge by chance (ex: you took the photo, checked the website later that day and realised that you had a photo which suited the challenge well).
Here's mine, although I have to admit I didn't really think it met the challenge, though I figured most people wouldn't be too picky.

Well, you are expecting people to post, so I guess I will...The first challenge was the one. It was for Opposites.
I had just found the site after taking this photo the same week.

Complexity.
I love this photo. It came 140th which was no great shock since it contains no visual appeal whatsoever!
I was sitting in the garden on the last day of submission trying to think of something really clever and complex when your nic came into my mind. Looked up at a very dramatic formation and rushed in to grab the camera.
Works best when slightly inebreated but there are loads of faces in the shot.(Marilyn Monroe 3rd up on right just above the skull) |

I had been working on some dark shots and came downstairs to process them, looked at the challenge and I think I was the first one to enter the challenge. I did have to find a magazine to match the picture.

I shot this...
while blissfully unaware of the "Blue Moon" speed challenge. I came home, logged, on and you can imagine my surprise.
More recently, I shot this...
as part of a panorama. While I was aware of the Complexity challenge, I was not thinking about it at the time. Only later, looking at the image, did I see the possibilities. |

This is the only serendipitous photo I've ever had.. and I really wished I'd processed the color and contrast on a properly calibrated monitor.. it really does look much better darker.. notwithstanding the few genuine flaws.
It scored in the high 4s, but nothing spectacular.. however, sized down to icon sized, it's great and I use it for my profile.

for the choices challenge.
I was out of country, with no 'net capabilities, so I put this one in when I got back - thought it would display the one row choosing to join in and the other row (in the background) sitting with hands folded. Not so strong in meeting the challenge, but I really like the shot.
