On the October Free Study Challenge it has advance editing.... Well my question is, there is someone in my photo that I dont want there am I allowed to clone them out in photoshop. Or is that against the rules. Maybe a dumb question but I have not entered alot of challenges so I am not sure.
Thanks to anyone who replies.

| I think cloning is allowed, but erasing is not allowed. |

i think thats one of those - upholding photographic integrity - type decisions you'll have to make personally.

There were 2 people in my shot I cloned out...

I think it would depend on how big they are in your shot though. |

| Yes, I know, ofcourse cloing is allowed, but if you like to clone 30% of you image, then I am sure that's more of digital art compared to photography and the rules aren't very clear about it. I would only say that you can clone some distracting bits from you image. Like you took a beach shot and found one man standing somewhere, I think you can clone him out. |

I would say that if cloning out much more than some spots or very minor elements of the image, the photo would not be a good challenge entry to start with.

| In many places, it's next to impossible to wait for people to get out of your shot at popular times like sunset. As long as they're very small in your shot, I really don't see a problem with it. |
