| Does anyone have any websites that give tutorials or tips for getting better framing, or on how to crop images? I think this is one of the things i'm weak at and it's so important! Thanks in advance! |

| I don't even own a camera but I am teaching photography to a group of students via this site using my knowledge in watercolor and music. Any art form can be useful in your quest. www.fountainstudio.com and www.art-wow.com are examples where tutorials on paintings can increase your comfort with framing, perspective and more...Music is more of a leap but composing and jaming is a pill to improve photos through exploration and bursts of creativity. My suggestion is to take astonishing amounts of photos of one or two subjects that you absolutely love over a long period of time. You will eventualy become a guru frame-cropper on such matters. |

Make your searches on 'photographic composition' instead of framing/cropping and you will find your answers :)

Jodie,
I just read your composition guide and it was extremely helpful. The way you laid it out and described everything made me recognize and think about compositional elements that I had never really given any thought to before - but I will now. :-)
