I entered notes for a photo currently in a challenge.

The disappeared when I hit the submit changes button.

I tried just adding the word "testing".

It also disappeared.

Anyone else having issues with this?

Uhh... just added some notes to an entry for a challenge starting soon without difficulty and they're still there.

Yup -- if you go into your portfolio and find it there, you can add comments.

What, you do mean an entry currently being voted on? No...all I get is shown the image and the caption saying that it's your entry. No fields at all. But I enter notes during submission or after voting, never during voting.

I did. Get the 'this image is currently in voting phase', click on that, shows pic, and below says 'this is your submission'. That's all.

I figured it was my computer. So I just entered a long comment on my phone. It still disappeared. Sigh.

You're probably entering the picture through your PROFILE: go to "My Portfolio" in the menu and select the image there; you'll be able to add things to the photographer's comments, enter data for camera settings etc...
