I've had success in photography over the past 6 months but last night was really 'ground breaking' for me.
I had posted a few days ago about a band manager screwing me over and that I was still going to cover their CD release party. Which was last night.
They've put out lots of albums but this was their first professionally. The CD looks AMAZING and they used a half dozen of my shots, and they look great...I'm so stoked.
Finally published! I got tons of compliments *bats lashes* and even made some great industry contacts. Including with the engineer who mixed their album, he hired me to take shots of his new studio for a brochure. SWEET.
ANyway, I'm just rambling because I'm so elated things are finally good...seems I managed to make a right decision. Thanks be to God.

I used to play badminton in Stephenville...I think I went once a year for provincials....so Mel King and I aren't the only Newfs on here???

Congratulations!
I am trying to think of a way to earn some mony from my photography so I could convince my wife that the 20D + Accessories is worth it. Actually I would just love to find a way to pay for this expensive habbit ! |

One of the guys in the band from last night went out and bought the 20D and the 17-40L lens! I couldn't believe it, he doesn't know anything about cameras and is broke. Strange move! Oh well, he let me use his perrrty lens. |

I used to Play Badminton with Lori and we went on alot of road trips in Newfoundland....hehe
Don't Forget ScantyNebula she is a newfie too...
