Whats a good video editing program, preferably a good free video editing program. I spent all I have on a new computer, PS CC, and plugins so I am looking for free. I run Windows 8 on a PC. Soon to upgrade to Windows 10.
Looking for something to learn on. I have recently also spent money on a drone to take aerial photography and video but never really edited video before so this will be a first for me.

power director is not bad at all.
It's what they use here in many places in Taiwan.
Premiere is too expensive and too pro for easy editings |

Yes, Windows Movie Maker. It's actually one of the better free tools out there.

I'm not sure it's "too pro" (I use an old version), but I thought Adobe came out with a stripped-down simplified "Elements" version like they did for Photoshop. |

This is correct I have it from the days I got my new 60D Canon it was free with the camera but worked like a dream.

| OpenShot is a great free timeline-based video editor, but it may be for Linux only. Seems like I saw talk of porting to Windows, but I don't know if it ever happened. |
