Whats a good video editing program, preferably a good free video editing program. I spent all I have on a new computer, PS CC, and plugins so I am looking for free. I run Windows 8 on a PC. Soon to upgrade to Windows 10.

Looking for something to learn on. I have recently also spent money on a drone to take aerial photography and video but never really edited video before so this will be a first for me.

power director is not bad at all.
It's what they use here in many places in Taiwan.
Premiere is too expensive and too pro for easy editings

Yes, Windows Movie Maker. It's actually one of the better free tools out there.

I'm not sure it's "too pro" (I use an old version), but I thought Adobe came out with a stripped-down simplified "Elements" version like they did for Photoshop.

This is correct I have it from the days I got my new 60D Canon it was free with the camera but worked like a dream.

You can download 'Audacity' to work with sound files. It's free.

OpenShot is a great free timeline-based video editor, but it may be for Linux only. Seems like I saw talk of porting to Windows, but I don't know if it ever happened.
