I have been looking at a motion detecting shutter release similar to how a trail camera works. I would setup up all camera settings. The grey area is, I would not be intentionally photographing whatever animal happened to wonder by. I would be leaving the setup for days at a time and returning to see what has been captured. Would this still be within "the spirit" of the rules?
I don't currently have this setup, but am considering setting one up this fall. |

| I believe any shot that you design is legal. Having someone else click the shutter or using a remote trigger would really be no different than what you are planning. |
