Hello,
I've used www.adorama.com several times for digital prints and have had great quality from them. They only print up to 8x12, though. I'm looking for larger prints at 11x14 and possibly up to 20x30. I noticed that www.ezprints.com will print at these larger sizes. Has anyone ordered from them? I don't mind wasting a few dollars on 4x6 prints to find out about quality, but I don't want to spend $20 on a 20x30 print only to find out they are no good. If you are currently happy with a digital print provider (any size prints) who are they and how do you like them? Thanks for your input!

I like www.clubphoto.com
I've had six 8x10's by them and all have been very nice.

I have tried almost all of the print places and the best I have found are walmart.com for pictures upto 8x10 glossy, or EZPrings.com for glossy or matte prints. Both places use Fuji processing which I find much better than the kodak processing. That's my opinion anyway. I have received prints from ophoto and imagestation that I thought were great until I got prints from walmart.com and ezprints.com.

Hope this information helps.

Thanks!

and if anyone happens to know of any on-line places that aren't ridiculously expensive but provide colour profiles, could you let me know please ? I'm fed up of ofoto, shutterfly, dotphoto etc screwing up the colours every now and then because they refuse to provide profiles.

Also if somebody from Germany (Hello!) knows of a place where to submit photos via the web and get the prints sent directly at home, I would be very interested.

I used Foto Porst (//www.porst.de/) once but they don't have a store in my city.

Gordon,
Try Cantoo or Custom Process in Berkeley. They are a full-service photo shops, but seem to be on-line aware. I got a calibration CD from Custom Process last time I was there to get some slides duplicated, but I've never gotten prints from them, and don't know what printers they have. Last time I checked, Cantoo has Fuji Frontier printers. I've actually gotten the vast majority of my digital prints from Ofoto.

If you need to do it in Norway, try Mine Bilder or Eurofoto.

If you need to do it in UK, try Photo Box

They all use high quality Fuji Frontier machines (Read more about them here, if you are so inclined), and I have good experiences with all of them.

Lately I have been using Photo Box exclusively, because their lustre prints are f*kin gorgeous.

Jacko,

So far I've only used Future Shop, and had mixed results. I've only gone as far as 8x10, and on two seperate occasions the results were good. On a third attempt (a birthday present for my wife of My Blues Bar picture) the colours got completely screwed up. I went to the lab (in Montreal), and they reprinted for me, several times until they got the colours correct. Their cropping sometimes screws up as well, so exact crops are touchy.

They are very fast though. On my last attempt, I sent the pic (1 - 8x10)in via the website at 10am and it was ready for pickup at noon.

That's all I got. Good luck.
