As I looked through my online pics, this one has to be my favorite. It was a very emotional time for me when I was taking it, as I could not get the childs feelings out of my mind. This house was partially burned shortly after my shot. I often wonder where the child is now. |

I like this photo firstly because my son is a moody teenager and its very hard to get him to smile, his smile says Volumes. I also like it because its a photo I worked hard on in photoshop applying lots of different techniques until I finally decide on the high key effect. It scored very low, but very very high in my heart :o)

I don't have one single favourite even of the few images I have on DPC let alone all the images I've ever taken.
But here's one I'm fond of at the moment (and that's also on sale to raise funds for wildlife conservation).

Kavey: I like that shot a lot. I like that connection between the photographer and the 'kitten'. I think it's a brilliant image. |

Thanks! If you can't afford one, I'd settle for your passing the link on to anyone you know who may also be an animal lover and be in a position to buy a print! :D There are 37 prints on sale for the charity to be found by going to //kavey.dpcprints.com and looking for those with DSWF in the title. So far we've raised $299 for the charity.

Thanks! There were two lionesses and 7 lion cubs and as I watched him climb I had a feeling he'd end up in that branch, though I didn't know if he'd look my way or not. I held the camera in position so long waiting for the shot I wanted I almost had to lower it but just then he posed just as I wanted. It's a totally wild situation, not in a zoo, and was one of the most thrilling things ever.

This shot is my favorite that I've taken. I know it's probably not technically perfect, but it has a place in my heart. It is a shot of a friend in Jamaica's restaurant and even though it doesn't look like much she is so proud of the place. |

I'm sorry, I have to post 2 shots (just because one of my sons would get envious if they knew they weren't featured!).
They both mean a lot to me personally because they show strong character traits of my boys, yet do not alienate a viewer who doesn't know them:
By the way:
> Zeus, that shot is really very odd and compulsive - a real knack you have for challenging perceptions.
> Kavey, I'll buy a print when I find time to sort it (that's a good cause, so hats off to you)
> K-Rob - I've always loved that Twin Towers shot
> Jeff - great piano shot

I have to agree with Artyste and gaurawa and say that my favorite photo keeps changing.
At the moment this is my favorite photo.
