even though you've managed to turn off all the electricity in my neighborhood, I can still get here by my phone!
Oh. Until my phone runs out of juice. and I can't charge it anymore.
okay! You can silence my voice in 38% of remaining phone charge. |

You can make toast in a cast iron skillet, if you have a gas stove. It's delicious... |

Yup. That's what will happen when it runs out. :)
No gas stove. Everything's electric. I figured I could watch movies on Jeff's old laptop. Nope. No router and modem. And he doesn't have a DVD player in it.
I could do my state taxes. Nope. They're done online. It is amazing how many things we can do without electricity. At least I'm no lo led in a garage that can't open without an opener. :) |

We were out for four days a couple of summers ago. That wasn't fun after the first day.
When you have kids, blackouts are fun. When you're home alone, they're just annoying. :) |

Just get comfortable in your car & stay there until the power comes back on!

Ok. I have to go drive around and charge my phone so that I'm able to go bike riding later (obviously you need a phone for bike riding) |

Ooh!! Good point!! I have a new car! I could live in there! Find free WiFi somewhere. Bring the laptop.
Oh. No eating in the new car, so I would have to leave at some point... |

Around here, one of the "thank-you gifts" the public radio station offers with a pledge of support is an emergency radio unit which can be powered by batteries, built-in solar cells, or a hand-crank. It can get several bands, and has a port to recharge your phone. |

I was snoring a bit until that last bit. When did those things start charging phones? Genius. |

Dang. I thought I could get rid of her via the "Poweroutage Play".
*sigh*
I might as well turn her electricity back on. *sigh again*
My entries are sucking on scores these days anyway.

You need to take out someone else, instead. My dappled light is at 5.4, and I've been about .4-.5 below my average quite a bit recently. :)
