how did you fare on your first challenge entry?
i got 4.880 with a 137/170 placement.. very humbling!

I found this website on August 1st, signed up five minutes later, and submitted photos to all three challenges an hour later! Here are the results:
Once in a Blue Moon - 2.809 (282/282) 0%
Miniature - 5.919 (27/240) 89%
Macro IV - 4.994 (177/248) 29%

interesting finishes.. and that a 5.9 got you into the top 30.

I averaged a 5.2, which made me happy considering I taught my submission sucked.

I got a good initiation -- didn't understand the challenge! And I'm not that far away from the 1st yet!

Started out with a 4.711 (191 out of 248).
Happily I've managed to move tha average up a bit - although not by much; it currently stands at 5.15ish.
If my current score stays where it is that'll creep up a bit more though :-)

A respectable first entry I suppose, though I still feel it should have placed a little higher than it did. Maybe if I could've taken the shot in the spring, when that engine space is overflowing with yellow daffodils.
