I would love it if you would take a look and give me your input and sage advice. It's not finished yet but rather a work in progress!!!

Looks pretty good to me!
I did go into one of the folders and tried to hit slide show which didn't work. But I seem to have a weird problem with websites not coming up sometimes until I hit cancel...so it may just be me. (Something to do with DNS I think.) But your site worked fine otherwise. And some great pictures that come up first. |

Things I like:
- lovely, elegant background - a good, neutral tone that doesn't hurt my eyes.
- no music being yelled at me as soon as I open the site!!!
- very, very beautiful photos to look at!!!!
- simple layout
Things I don't like:
- the slideshow has too many duplicates - photos that are nearly identical and/or in identical settings. It makes it look like you had one good, lucky day and you felt the need to use all the results from that day. I would pick one (or possibly two at maximum), then make sure to mix it up for the very next pic in line. If necessary, come back to it, but place photos next to each other that are quite different.
- I think they would look better with a small and basic border, just to set them off the background better. Your "flowers" folder already has one, the others do not..... they need to be consistent.
- the slideshows don't work
- after scrolling down a page, I couldn't find an "up" button
- your albums are: wildlife, Florida, flowers and historic places....... then there is "motion blur" which I find a slightly odd category amongst the others (but that could be just MY weird opinion).
- I quite like the motion blurs, but too many of them are the same.
Nice start - with few tweaks it will be lovely!

Awesome. I love the look. I viewed on my iPad, and the slideshows did work. (Tested 3).
My main comment - on the opening page the word Wildlife is above the picture in the center. But for the other categories the name is below the photo on the left. It took me a minute to scroll down enough to realize the heading was there.
I did not think the images seemed too much like duplicates - I can see me choosing the exact pose/orientation I liked best.
An alternate title for the Motion Blur category could make it fit better with other categories. Maybe something like Abstract Nature, or Artistry.
Congrats, what a big job. Bet you learned a ton.

How exciting for you!! That is a huge, huge step and I love what you are doing with it so far..
On my computer, I am not sure but I don't think the browsers should matter on what it is seeing it by,
for me, I noticed that the website LOVED Google chrome and I was able to use the slide shows and see things beautifully and great pics too.
Internet explorer, not so much just the title of the page, background and the font of the site showed only. No pictures were able to be shown and I ended up with a lot of coding loading errors..
I don't use firefox so I can't tell you how it looked on that browser..
Very impressive and I wish you the best, websites are a pain to do but such a fun accomplishment :-)) Can't wait to see what it looks like when its completed ...
Also, as a side note and you prob know this as well, but I also played around with the Buying and purchasing buttons and that area.. I had seen only one red flag that really stuck out at me and that is because I used to own 5 websites.... there were no security certificates or "locks" on the purchasing screens.. usually when you get to those pages, your customer should be seeing a lock in the bar letting them know that the information that they are putting in is going to be encrypted and safe even if it is on the name/address and any pages that collect personal information, emails or what not.... nothing shown proof of this and I would be very scared to input any information on those pages.. even though the paypal button is there, that would be ok and safe to do, but if I was not using paypal, that would be a huge red flag issue. I know that some webservers sell security certificates and others do it by themselves, but some are not cheap but for the protection for your customers I would do that if you were planning on selling from the site.. its a whole new can of worms too LOL
I saw that it was powered by smug mug, but I am not familiar with their settings, set ups or what is available and not..and maybe they have something that they offer which is cheaper?? I am not sure know nothing about that......
You also might think about adding links such as your customer information, how to get ahold of you for customer service if anything happens with the billing/charging, adding terms and agreements of service, adding a FAQ page.. all the fun detail stuff of how you use your customers information how the site collects information from the server and all that other fun stuff.
You have a wonderful and beautiful start! I love the nuteral tones as well.. well done, very excited for you..
