It's been quite a few years, but I think I had Chemistry aftermath.

Aftermath of chips with cheese and a healthy squirt of ghost pepper hot sauce?

I could just set a puddle of gasoline on fire, that's a fair illustration.

re the thread in general...lol I worked at a barn where there was a Welsh Cob stallion whose shortened-up barn name was Math. He sired a filly who looked just like him, and she was named Aftermath...so I can't help but think of that! :-)

MadMan2K...Are ghost peppers really as hot as I've heard they are? Mebbe if you're in the lower 48 we could arrange a leetle swap o' goodies?

I've never eaten just the peppers, but the condensed hot sauce made from them is super hot - just a few small drops is enough to give a lot of heat to a bowl of chips and cheese, any more than that and the aftermath is pretty 'burny'

I have part of a bottle of a sauce called Atomic Purple left, it came from a vendor called Pex Peppers; it was a seasonal thing and they've sold out of it from last season, but they have one they say is a 15 out of 10 for heat made from Scorpion peppers.

If I grew them I'd be up for the goody swap but I'm a terrible gardner, can't keep a plant alive for anything. And my wife isn't fond of spicy things so she wouldn't want to take care of a hot pepper plant.

here in Taiwan we have "the killer" it's a paste made of the hottest peppers.
It is the worlds hottest sauce. I tried it before and it's really deadly if too much is eaten.
