An interesting article from Vanity Fair on Florida 2000, and how both camps are gearing for more of the same in 2004:

Nothing particularly funny about stealing elections through voter intimidation and outright fraud. Unless, of course, you are on the "winning" side and don't give a hoot about democracy and the American tradition.

Nothing too funny about stealing the content of a magazine either. Can anyone say copyright violation?

Yes, nothing funny about Vanity Fair, considering that some of the best investigative journalism is coming out of publications like it, including the New Yorker magazine.

Scott, since you've expressed such concern for copyright law, you'll be glad to know that Vanity Fair granted permission to have the article reproduced as it appears in the October 2004 edition of the magazine, see here.

So I guess the new trend among the forum republican defenders is to completely give up rational discourse when confronted with the the cognitive dissonance of sight of their candidate exposed as a fraud, and
instead
offer
us
a
cute
picture
as
a
brilliant
thoughtful
rebuttal.
