I thought colour images in B&W challenges got the ribbons.

Mine might be either inedible and incoloured, inedible and coloured, edible and incoloured.

wasn't aware that dogs on a leash were such a delicacy all around the world ;)

congrats on the score being so high for what sounds like a tasty picture :)

I tried to enter this challenge, but I did not like any of my shots. I will say I voted on every entry. There were many good photos but I found one thing I kept coming back to in reference to my voting. The challenge was to make the food "appetizing". While the technical and artistic content of many photos was terrific, I found many of them lacked an "appetizing" quality. Just my two cents...

Appetizing is somewhat subjective. The more voters food looks appetizing to, the higher the photo should score I guess. Maybe leave a comment if you found food appetizing or not WRT the photo and why? I think a lot of people who entered love to take photos of food, but want to learn how to take better photos of food.

I agree, it is very subjective, and perhaps I took it too literal. Like I said, there were a number of very good photos and I appreciate the fact that folks have a niche they like to pursue and improve on their technique.

I think mines a bit technically appetizing but not too the palette
