Coffee I
Description: Photograph the perfect cup of coffee or someone enjoying that perfect cup of coffee. Any form or type of the wonderful caffeinated drink is allowed ie: regular coffee, cappuccino, Irish coffee...

| I agree. Has potential for some nice shots. And I'm sure the creative geniuses of this community will come up with something insanely creative and out of the box which would be interesting to see. |

Funny, I was thinking of suggesting Chocolate as a challenge. Would they work as a split?

How about a compromise and we settle on a "mocha coffee" challenge? :-)

| I think that there's merit in both as separate challenges (or combined). Coffee opens up many options, as does chocolate - maybe one challenge with people and the other a product shot? Not sure which would be more fun with people - maybe chocolate! |

I'm thinking more along the pure lines of anything that has "coffee" in it...
ETA: because if you say caffeine then technically that's loads of different things...like Root Beer, Monster...etc...
Keep it pure....

Ok, this one I was kinda iffy about.. sooo after reading a few things and knowing I crashed with my last coffee shot which was for my avatar and it failed big time...
What about capturing people on their coffee breaks? Like construction workers or the like?
I am really going to have to think hard on this one or just throw something together really quick :-)) |

Obviously, I'll have to give 1s to anyone who uses decaf coffee. ;) |

Decaf is not real coffee, so they shouldn't be taking pictures of it in the first place.
Also, if they show a tea bag string coming out of the cup, i've hacked the site to allow negative scoring, you push the - key and it gives a vote of -5 ;p
