Not just a flower challenge, a wildflower hunt. It's spring (at least in the Northern Hemisphere, that is) and the wildflowers are in bloom. April showers, May flowers, and all that. Time to get outside and find some wildflowers. Times a-wastin' for this one. Advanced editing. Special rule: Anything in a vase is a virtual DQ! |

Why would it have to be expert? |

Because it's a wildflower & it might be imperative to clone out a bunch of distracting stuff or otherwise significantly alter the image. Or would you have me significantly alter the landscape itself? Or dig up the wildflower & bring it home to my studio? |

Nah, that's the challenge of it all ... take some time to hunt through the wildflowers to find the one to make the perfect shot. And if you strike out, at least you've spent a nice day outdoors soaking it all in, rather than back at your computer cloning out native grasses. |

That's just it. I take along all sorts of gear, including brushes, tweezers, flashlight, water spritzer, & scissors. Still if I am allowed to choose between trying to improve on Mother Nature on the spot, in the field, or doing the same from my lazy boy--well, I pick the lazy boy. |

All challenges should be expert, that gives everyone what they want .
If you wish to only process to a minimal standard then do so etc. etc.
I see no valid reason why this is not so.
Works perfectly well elsewhere. |
