As opposed to the controversial "High Key" topic (as in definiton and such) how about "''White'' 'on' ''White''"?
"Take a photo in which teh background and the subject are both ''white''."
Just a thought,
Lee

I think it would be better than high key cause everybody has theyr own opinion how high key is
So you cant say doesnt meet the challenge if its ''white'' something 'on' ''white'' background :D
Well.. people could say doesnt meet the challenge if the person has blue eyes or something ... hopeless..
hehe

"Take a photo in which the background is ''white'' and the subject is predominately ''white'' as well."
:)?
But the high key dealie is my point of using the terminology ''white'' 'on'
''white''.
Edit: Spelling smells.

Alternate wordings from this thread:
Originally posted by bruchen: I would like to suggest the following:
3. ''white'' 'on' ''white''. Use ''white'' 'on' your composition. Other colors are permitted but your subject should be ''white'' and the background ''white'' also. |
Originally posted by Britannica: (I saw it was mentioned, but I had a different discription in mind)
2) ''White'' 'on' ''White'' -- High key is predominantly bright, but not necessarily ''white''; in this companion to the 'Black 'on' Black' challenge the background and foreground should be predominantly ''white''. Watch those highlights! :D |
Others suggested it as well, but did not include a description. I include them in this thread for completeness in hammering out a description that is acceptable to all.
