I'm flirting with a SIX... in a challenge topic that I'm so outside of my comfort zone in!
I'm so proud it's not bombing! But.. .I was just proud of me for trying it... then for entering it...
Life is good, even when it's not.

I had absolutely no desire to shoot for this one. I found his work quite interesting, and I really do like this type of challenge, but our street possibilities are so incredibly limited, and I was just not motivated.
I went out anyway, and had a surprisingly good time! The photos that I got weren't that wonderful, but I really saw some fun things that I truly enjoyed. And trying what I thought were some of his techniques was interesting and frustrating at the same time.
I'm very glad that I shot for it. This happens more often than not. I don't like the challenges, but I really get something out of them that I never expect.

THat's my story exactly, Wendy!
Except... I had two of my offspring saying, "Mom! You can't DO that! STOP... PLEASE!" every time I took a shot.

i get that all the time, when we were in Dublin, I took a photo of a Romanian gyspy begging, my son, freaked out and said "You CAN'T DO that", I said, "too late I just did"! |

Can't think when I have enjoyed voting a challenge so much.
6 x 7s, 3 x 8s, 3 x 9s, 3 x 10s. That's an all-time high for me. No doubt because I love street photography more than any other kind, but there really are some very good street shots in there. Now looking forward to making comments. |

True, scores are high, entries are great, BUT they are all so good I am having trouble, a lot of trouble, deciding. Looking forward to reading comments by ubique. There is much to learn here in the hands of those who have special talents! Thank you for posting.

I did not enter this challenge but just scored. 7 10's. 8 9's. Also my highest scoring challenge in a long time. Nothing low.
Now....one observation....or maybe I can't say it until the challenge is over......

I've noticed almost 3 times more views than votes this week. Viewing is important... to me, that means the challenge is a success.
