Ok I want to start off by saying this isn't even a good window display photo but as of today it became very photojournalistic...and as the day goes on I will give you all the details as to why it is so photojournalistic at the moment.

B/c a store selling bridal gowns closed leaving a lot of people without wedding gowns even days before their weddings yet not refunding the deposits. I win! = )
(going with the title, the store was owned by a Mr. Kauffman)

The dress is made of cocaine and many dresses like it have been shipped from Columbia and passed through US Customs unnoticed.

Good guess but anyone could have supplied them a photo of a gown from Kaufmans Wedding World....and I have much better photos than that one of the display windows in the store...
Little clue...It has to do with the extra details...
Anyone wanna take another guess?

LOL no Laurie and no one will be wearing it...Maverick was going in the right direction...
next clue...this photo was taken August 22, the store announced its closing Tuesday evening stating they were in such bad financial shape they couldn't even pay the employees.
Again the answer to why this photo is so news worthy is in the details of the photo.

Is the reflection in the window of a police station or a prison perhaps?
I have the AP press article, but am not sure what you're getting at.

Reflection? Hmm... Hard to tell, it almost looks like you're seeing that through the window rather than a reflection. ???

Taking the title of the photo and the Lighting and putting them together, is that it?."Kaufmans Future not so bright"

The local newspaper and tv station are both freaking out over that photo.
When I read the story in the newspaper then heard more on the local news, I got to thinking about the last time I photographed the window display. And I happen to remember some interior design sketches in the window where the Kaufman Gallery, which is connected to the store, is being turned into a banquet hall.
I decided to go back through all my photos of that night to see if I had gotten any of them in the photos...well that photo if you look has a portion of the design sketch on the left side of the photo...a little detail that had this been a challenge everyone would have been freaking out about how it takes from the main subject of the photo....lol
Anyhow when I contacted the two local reporters about it they got really excited and believe I may have accidently gave them all a lead on the future of the store and what is really going on. The photo may or may not be used for future news stories involving the store but it has at the very least created a very unexpected twist in the story of what is really happening. No store that was going bankrupt would have eleborate design sketches drawn up pertaining to the future of it.
And I picked up on something being a little out of the ordinary just cause I was paying attention to details.

could be but they didn't go bankrupt overnight, they have been having financial issues for several years. If they had them done sometime ago I'm sure they would have displayed them sooner.

i see a faint shadow of the head of Jesus just above the neck line of the dress that is on the back wall, and looks like he has wishbone ear ring on also

I was originally thinking I saw something like that too... I didn't see the ear ring though... good pickup!

LMAO you are suppose to tell me how bad the photo really is like the glare on the top of the dress the flowers and the artwork distract from the main subject of the photo...
Seriously, that is an aweful photo but because of that silly piece of art better known as a design sketch that photo is pretty news worthy.
