Eugene got 6-9 inches of snow on Friday which is a BIG DEAL in these parts. Schools are still closed (as we probably have three plows for the whole county which runs to the coast). Anyway, Finnigan, our Cairn was in hog heaven!

Awesome! The brighter image is definitely my favorite. Finnigan's coat looks so healthy and shiny in that light. And I love that you can see the little toenails. It has great movement and shows the excitement really well. I also love the expression of the first "Finnigan in snow" image. It's got that "played too hard" and pooped out look about it.
It's supposed to warm up tomorrow and all our precious snow will start leaving us, but I just got a notice from the college that classes are closed tomorrow, again. My bet is that they're counting on that little bit of rain tonight to make one heck of an icy mess on our inches of snow that's smooshed onto all of our roads. Come on nature, it's not like it's finals week or anything! I still have all 7ish+ inches of snow on my car. I can't decide if I want to clean it off and risk a thick layer of ice, or use it as a "blanket." Laziness on my part has sided with the "blanket" theory.
On the bright side, I've taken all three of my finals in my pajamas. Though, it needs to lighten up a little, I have books to sell back this week! |

Wautsi, you have SNOW!! I've waited for snowfall for a month now. Winter is coming, but where is the snow.
Great shots, I like them. Taking photos of running dogs in the snow is fun, they are so full of life. |

Thanks. It was pretty fun. Normally we wouldn't let him off leash because, like a true Terrier, if he sees something that interests him, there is no reasoning with him. At least the snow slowed him down while he hopped around like a jackrabbit. :) He was a big ball of matted snow when we got in. He looked like a Bumble. We had to melt him down in the sink.
BTW, the pictures were processed in LR5 which I picked up. I'm not sure I have sharpening down though. I don't know what setting correlates to what I did in CS5.
