Since labor day I have done pretty much nothing but work...I have had to lay my hobby (photography) on the side.... It will be coming to an end soon....I hope. I wanna comment on pics and enter pics.....

Anyway I have been working 7 days a week for the most part...when I have not been working I have been too tired to go out and improve my skills and in much need to play with my puppy....I hope to participate more in the future

Rest in Peace dear Dixie!

Where are the pix of Piper the PowerPuppy?

Honestly, may you get a break from our punishing schedule soon so you can spend some quality time with Piper. And get some adorable pix.

Employment is a good thing. I recently concluded a 4 month unemployed stretch after the division I worked for was shut down by the parent corporation. It was a nice break for a while, but not having a mission every day got old quick.

If I had a puppy and she was that cute, that's all I'd want to do, too :-)

I worked once, I disliked it.

Don't know what you do for a living, Cowboy, but I'm often enough in a similar situation. Can't say no to work when you don't know where the next job's coming from. I'm damn all use for advice, as I haven't got myself out of the hole either, but here's wishing you progress and give some quality time to the pup.

The only thing I was complaining about was the amount of hours. A normal work week is 40 hrs for me....However, since labor day I have been working around 60 hrs a week. one week I did a 70 hr week.

again I love the time and 1/2

I would like to add that I enjoy my job

I find my self unemployed again, 2nd time this year. Concrete construction has taken a beating over the last couple years, add I need both knees replaced in the near future and allergy to concrete components, I am unlikely to find a job in which I have 25 years experience.
I'm thinking HSE adviser (in the field job safety) is my next direction in career, heck I just applied for that position in Saudi Arabia, we will see what happens. I guess I will continue to pound the pavement, I just don't want to have to work at Walmart..

i'm in a similar boat. not wit h the 7 days/week for the office, but with the non-stop schedule of life - leaves me crashing and unable to muster energy for photography. it sucks, but i'm looking forward to a time when things settle down as well. lets hope that comes to us all soon!
