One of my friends from another site recently shared his tutorial on mounting/matting with me... here is the link:

I like all the extra info i can find on this subject. It isn't very detailed (in writing), but the pics do great service if you ever done any of this before. The only problem...assumes you have a press (Ouch! More money), and that you want to ruin your photo by sticking it to a board. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I just want mine to be "convertable" down the road, if needed. Plus it is not really with the conservationist thinking.

Seems like a way, not necessarily the right way. Why is this better than the traditional approach?
