Love this portrait in all it's awkwardness (lighting, composition etc). Stylistically a failure, but of my faves nonetheless!

I know...but sometimes the imperfect shots actually appeal more to one. This is definitely the case.

It was an Instagram kinda month. Actually, I only shot one day with the "real camera"...

I was away at the end of the month and only had the images I took during the weekend with me. Otherwise, I would probably have entered this one instead of my entry. Probably wouldn't have done any better but...

Outtakes. Midday sun was a factor and I just wasn't satisfied with how any of these were looking. I decided a little before rollover to instead enter tree stump in my usual style of processing.

Same spot on a pier in North Lake Tahoe, the first one on a windy sunrise, the other on a calm warm sunset the following day.
