Since this section goes largely ignored... I figured the best way to avoid 3 food challenges in a row would be to suggest a food challenge...

Many flowers are edible: squash blossoms are often battered and fried, and nasturtiums work in salads (both leaves and flowers (peppery, somewhat like watercress), and the seed pods can be pickled like capers (another flower/bud which is eaten). You can use dandelion flowers (yellow part only) as a base for wine or jelly. Artichokes are the un-bloomed flowers of a large thistle, though strictly speaking (botanically) the actual flowers are the "choke" you throw away from all but the smallest/youngest specimens.
Mushrooms are the functional equivalent of flowers in the fungal world.
I'm sure there are many others ... |

What would happen if a challenge didn't get any entries at all?
Would this make a clear statement? |

Perhaps two food challenges in a row is too much, but don't you eat something once in a while? |

It happens that once in a while I do eat something ;)
I'm kidding, sorry.
But do all dishes look tasty enough to present them in a photograph?
And I admit: I'm not a fast shooter. So any warm dish I would photograph would be eaten cold afterwards.
Perhaps I'm looking too much to find an original recipe as well.
Basically, I don't have a problem with the first of 2 challenges. The second one is likely not one I will enter.
Additional note: I was not inviting others not to participate in the second one. I was simply asking myself what would happen if...
I don't want to be seen as a troublemaker.

Excuse me...Could you make that "Mrs Chicken" please, thank you ;)
I saw what happened to another member recently and I myself would like to stick around for a while longer.
Causing troubles is not my style.
