So I just got a trigger remote and I've been doing some fairly successful bird shoots from inside the house. The trouble is that it takes a while for the birds to get brave enough to come and every time I go outside to chimp and reset the manual settings as the light changes the waiting game starts all over again. I've used the free trial for NKremote and really love that I can see the pictures and adjust focus and settings from the computer, but I would really like to avoid having to buy a really long cord and risking it getting snagged and knocking my tripod over. Does anybody know of a tethering program where you can adjust settings from your computer wirelessly? I'm new to tethering in general... |

The mourning dove was taken with a 50mm... I've been taking pictures of my backyard birds for so long they don't even notice the camera and the noise.
Is there even such a thing as wireless tethering with the ability to make camera adjustments. I'm starting to think not. |

Here's a link for CameraMator, a new product that supposed to be coming out soon.
Other sites on Google... Google page regarding wireless tethering... |

Buy Canon 6D ;) it comes with an app and have built-in support to control you camera and view what camera would see in your cell phone :)
just teasing!
I also looked at CameraMator and it was looking promising to me the only thing at that point whether it would work with my 50D or not though it did say that they support 50D.
Though Amazon does have another option. |
