I've been fluctuating between 3.0xxx and 3.1xxx. Not exactly how I hoped my debut would turn out, but hey.. there's only one way to go from here! :)

Was holding steady at over 5.8 but now it's dropping after just a few low votes.

Seems like my pic has been steadly dropping- from a 7 avg to a 4.6

whats happening? Are people voting down in order for their entries to win???

This is my second entry and my score has improved slightly from my first in the neon challenge. I've gotten some really great comments. I love DPC.

Good luck les. I loved your neon entry. This is my fourth and I keep hovering around the 4.1 mark. Just frustrating to me cause I think its better than my neon entry and that got a 4.2 somehow.

I highly doubt it.. voting trends like that would get picked up by the monitoring pretty fast... besides.. I've held steady at 4.28 - 4.32 from the beginning.. never really fluctating any higher or lower than that at all. Which creeps me out just a bit ;)

Been hovering around a 4 since the start, but this is only my second challenge and didn't have alot of time to come up with a great shot. But some of the commentors really liked the shot, while others didn't, oh well thats why it is called a learning process. Good luck to all!!

The score gets steady only after 70-80 votes ( from my experience in 7 challenges ). if you saw a score of 7 after only a few votes, that can sure change. But it doesn't always decrease, so don't lose hope :)
Atleast it increased from 4.4 to 5.65 for me in the vanishing point challenge.

I have actually moved up a little over the last day or so. I am pretty happy with the photo.

I've got a question about comments...

Is it appropriate to respond to individuals via private message (or any other method) during the voting process?

My gut tells me that it's not, but if this is common practice then I might consider it (but ONLY if it's common practice).

Generally speaking, you don't PM commenters during voting unless they specifically ask for one.

That's too bad, JuneBug - it is really important to become familiar with the rules. Here is the link to the Basic Editing Rules:

I hope you won't be upset and have some plans for the Framed Challenge!

Not bad... My highest score yet, and it's going up. Started at around a 5 with about 50 votes when I checked. I thought more people would like it though. One commenter was "speechless" and gave it a 10, but I guess not everyone feels that way. :)

Woo hoo!
I just went up to 4.38 from 4.36 in *one* vote!

Ok.. ook.. I know, so what. Bear with me, I'm bored :)
