I have an old photo that I would like to restore if possible. I have played with it in photoshop and I just don't know how and can't get out the scratches, It is in bad shape, but the picture is an old one with a brother and sister. The brother recently died and I would like to fix it just good enough to give back to the sister. I don't know how to upload it, can anyone help? Thanks sooo much! |

You need to be a member to have a portfolio here. You can host the photo on another site and link to it by clicking the "Insert Thumbnail Link to Site Image" button that looks like two small boxes above where you type your posts to the thread. |

Here's another jumping off point if someone wants. I've cleaned up most of the minor cracking.

I took a break after the cleanup I did and never got back to it. I'll finish my edit tomorrow. :) |

Here is where I am at. Don't know that I'll have time to really go further with it but it's an improvement. |

Here's my final cleaned version. I tried to smooth the grain, but wasn't happy with the results. I left the coloring untouched too, because I like the charm of the aged yellow.

Here's my version, working from Aliqui's yellowish image. I made it a strong sepia, with a lot of smoothing.
