I'm just wondering why so many people didn't vote in the Botany challenge. I've even had more views in Botany, but way less votes than Neon.
Anyone else have such differing numbers?

I plan on voting on both contests this weekend. But to be honest I dont find either subject terribly interesting. |

I have been gone all week, but I also didn't find enough of the two challenges very interesting either, and don't want to give low scores to so many.

Heh heh, any time you get over 200 votes, that's pretty good. After the switch to two weekly challenges (start of 2003), it was pretty common to only see 100-110 votes in a member challenge, even for the ribbon winners.
The member challenges in general have lower vote totals, since the voter pool is much smaller.

I have the same range of votes (neon vs botany) and had wondered the same thing.
Isn't botany limited to member voters and neon is open to all voters? Wouldn't that explain it?

also botany isnt as interesting to vote on than most chalanges.

Easy there big fella, still got a couple days on botany and four days on neon! I like to procrastinate and go through the entries a handful at a time, I'll get to em... ;-) |
