| One thing I liked about the 580 is that the wide angle range also increased to 14mm I believe. So if you have a very wide angle lens and are planning on using a flash, that is something else to think about. |

Oh, that's really cool. I am saving up for a very pricey wide angle, hoping to get it next year! So, that'll be nice!

Very true. I forget that the 10D and 20D have the 1.6 crop factor. |

420Ex is a good option- works pretty well as is, and can be slaved to one of those bigger, more expensive units in the future too.

I cracked and ordered the 20D to go with my 580ex. My husband approved it, but it's all my money, since he's a student. bah! I need a 2nd job. Anyone need a web designer?
