There are so many great photos this week in Landscape, I'm considering a finish in the top 30 or 40 to be an honor! My score so far looks like I might just make it into the top 40 roughly. But... I got a 10 from John Setzler, which to me is a victory in itself! To get a great score from another photographer who does such incredible work makes me happy!! Thanks, John...

I've gotten a 10 from Setz too. Even made it on his favorite photos list! It does make you feel really good when someone with such an eye for photography recognizes and compliments you.
Actually, makes me feel good to be recognized at all. So thank you to everyone who votes and comments.
Also special thanks to the 8 people who have me on their favorite photographer list, and the 12 people who have selected my photos as favorites. And to the 228 people who thought my crits were helpful. You know who you are. :)

smellyfish, i hear ya. I'm happy just to get a comment from John...even if it ends with the number 3 :)
It would be interesting to find out who are the most respected (opinion/comment-wise) members on the site. I tend to look forward to comments from jmsetzler and timj351, good or bad. Not that others' opinions don't count, they sure do.
I will throw a party when drew leaves a comment on one of my photos, though. :) |

Yes achiral i gave you a 4. I`ve also given out eleven 10`s which for me is very generous. 4 you should feel proud. lol

Setz always gives me insightful comments on my images....like....when you snapped the shutter was your eye open....and....i am not sure if you were on strong sedatives when you took this image but it seems to be a bit overexposed....
Ok that's my two cents on this thread.....
and by the way....Setz is a great photographer.....as that ad says...Like Setz...I wanna be like Setz...I wanna be I wanna be I wanna be.....
