Wal-Mart sounds like a deal, but if your's doesn't have matte prints, see if there's a Wolf or Ritz Camera store nearby. They have 4x6 matte prints on Fuji paper for $0.49 (printed on Fuji Frintier printers -- use 300 dpi). Self-service prints come with a 1/8" white border, but you can hand in your media and specify borderless prints. |

This is truely wonderful news. Most of the features I would want have been mentioned including "sub galleries", "Ability to order prints", "Better re-ordering then pbase has", "etc"
The one I didn't see mentioned and I would be interested in... The ability to link a photo into the forums.

Wall mart sounds good if you are in the states.
I however use Imagestation, free, easy to use, upload in like 3 ways multiple images
no limitaion on space
password protect, make public, private, multiple galleries, different backgrounds, printing, quick, no exif, the list goes on ... a little sony advertising, but so what .. it's free.
thats my choice, and it was easy to sign up for unlike DA art or whatever and PBase gave me hastle too a while back, only thing against it is it's not as simple looking as pbase, you know how pbase is just a header and then you stuff, thats nice, this has sony crap everywhere, but most of it is to do with your albums.
And Drew ... is it going to be for paying members, i am so close to paying for a membership, but haven't really got or had time to use everything at the minute, i'll try to make up my mind in the next few weeks.

A lot of the "requirements" mentioned are already done at Webshots.

If you are thinking of adding personal photo databases here, I suggest charging according to amount of space used i.e., each person select whether they want to have 60MB, 120 MB, etc. available to them. |

Yes it is. Maybe in the future we'll be able to afford to give nonmembers space as well, but at launch, it'll be members-only.

I don't know if you'd call this a feature, but...
