I just noticed that my proverb shot's title has dissapeared after rollover, and before the start of the 'simile' challenge it was happening as well, anyone know why this would occur?

Did you have yours in quotation marks? "title"

Does that explain how I 'failed to notice no proverb attached'? I probably saw it after all. What was it?

Yes it was on all challenge:

The heart is but the beach beside the sea that is the world.

and yes it was in quotations!

My Zen challenge entry title went awol because I used a different character set, same when I used Russian text in another. Roll over literally rolls over it.

If you do quotes it's fine.

If you add notes to the photo during the challenge with quotes in the title, it will remove the title.

my title disappeared for bottom 1000. sent a ticket for it to be fixed. will keep sending in tickets until it is fixed.

go lanndon! I too am missing a title I had so cleverly put in quotes.

My proverbs title was in quotations and it disappeared also. I sent a ticket in. Scalvert fixed it, said it was due to the quotations in the title. So Pamb is correct.

Thanks scalvert.

Are you sending in an Administrative ticket or a General Inquiry ticket? The former goes only to Langdon, and SC members never see it.

You can use the latter form instead -- it looks like any SC member can fix your titles, at least after the voting. Post the correct title for that image here or PM me and I will fix it.

Beware. I'm no longer the Earl of Worcestershire. And my castles will soon be taxed.

I have had a few whose titles became blank.

The first one, I asked to have put back. The others... I'm just ignoring.

If it's a coding thing and it has not been addressed the site is probably prone to "injection" attacks... Let's see what those "s and 's did
08/09/2012 11:13:03 PM · #24
Look ok in the forums, chances are it's breaking the code... eg setting the variable

$thing='some kind of thing!';

if you put another ' in there it closes it off earlier

$thing='some kind'... of thing!';

Usually validation picks up a ' and puts a / in front of it
At least that's what i remember from php.

nb: i meant \

Place looks like swiss cheese from what I can tell... Fortunately, no one seems to care about this place enough to bother with doing something.
