Well I,m not really sure as I have never understood why you sometimes call yourself Grog and seem to act like a cave dwelling person ?

Perhaps a little background information may help with my descision.

Tiny, he's a proud member of the troglodyte race, one of the few surviving...

But then when are you you?

You need special dispensation to set up an alt account.

It's just a Schtick. I left a humorous comment on a challenge entry of a cave and the alter ego just acquired a life of his own. The Grog comments seemed to be appreciated, so I've kept it as something special I do mostly in freestudies. I don't force myself to leave a ton of the Grog comments, as I don't want to burn myself out on it.(Like another member did a few years ago, with humorous comments on every single FS entry. It was great, but hard to maintain such momentum.) So I just leave a fee Grog comments when an image inspires me to idiocy. When we did the "DPC User Portait" challenge, my wife suggested she should enter a photo of me as Grog. We bought a caveman costume and I publicly humiliated myself on the shore of lake Grapevine for my first of a number of cameo appearance by Grog.

That's about it.

Is he the spokescaveman for Geico that I used to see on TV?

Change your name again? No. You'd then be a yo-yo, Yo.

If you become Grog will we get a spiffy comment from time to time, or will Yo_Spiff completely disappear? It's an important consideration for us to take into account before we can advise you one way or another :)

One of my all time favorite comments came from Yo_Spiff...so I would have to agree with John here.

I'm leaning towards the "no" side of the fence.

Sounds like Grog will remain an occasional visitor. Thanks.

I would say no, just keep treating us to guest appearances of Grog when the occasion calls for him.

Everyone already knows you're spiffy -- groggy just doesn't work!
