Just thought I would start a thread for those who like playing with filters, photo manipulation, and off beat abstracts. Post your favs or your own. I will start wih one. Comments are nice, but if you want comments, remember to make comments. And if you receive a comment, please return if you can.

Well I do love to play w/abstract color, especially Flip'n'Blend. And warp. Etc. I like to be free of the obligations of the representational world, where everything stands for something, or means something, & go for plain time & space, color & emotion.

Digital Art? Sure, an art form that is one of my all-time favorites.

Amazing what you photographed and what you ended up with. Love that neon choice of color. Did you use polar coordinates, or maybe a mirror image? It is definitely cool
The problem with these is that they go pretty fast for me.
By the time I've done it I'm not sure how I got there. Surely there was mirror image, probably some flip and blend, and definitely some spiraling is in there. Could I do it again? Never in the proverbial million years. |
