Didn't get a chance to get my rain idea into the mix, raining money on hoes, will have to make sure this one gets completed. I was gunning for brown then, might as well do the same here.

The first Superpowers Challenge had 60 entries.....

The challenge is sitting at 8 right now. I hope the challenge gets enough people in - hey if there are only 50 one is guaranteed to be a top 50 spot!!!!!!!!!!

im going to try to get a shoot in tonight. I'll probably just do something just to get in.

my original idea was awesome, but i couldn't figure out how to pull it off the way i envisioned it, plus the lighting got all screwed up when the sun came back out :( i wasted a whole night shooting and processing and just couldn't get it to work to my standards.

im kind of bummed about it actually, i thought the entry was going to be awesome.

anyone that says expert editing allows you fix it in post and doesn't require you to get it right in camera in an idiot and has no respect for the time and patience great expert images require.

anyhoo, i have another idea, but i need to get some props, hopefully i can get it done.

Don't feel too bad, Mike, I only got the idea for mine yesterday and wasn't able to shoot the main elements til the evening. Even so I have to return to get some more shots.

And huge +1 on the comment about supposedly fixing everything in post - though you can have a lot of fun there are still plenty of elements you need to get right straight off. For example, Christophe is a bear when it comes to getting the light just right, in camera.

Anyway hope you're able to get something in and if not today, I'm sure there will be another Expert challenge soon! :-)

i managed my shoot last night, it didn't come out quite as I had envisioned it, but it's still workable with a different angle on the powers. Now tonight to finish post processing if i can figure out one of the effects I want to put in. I figure this will be a decent image, hopefully everybody else agrees.

I have a better idea, but Mr. Rain in that context would be kind of funny, and by better, I mean more obscene.
Don't really care about the challenges anymore so I may or may not enter. At worst, I'll do it before the end of the month for the self portrait side challenge going on.
