This could be confusing for newbies who follow this tutorial prior to submitting their entries.
Much appreciated :¬) |
Submit a ticket at Help> Contact Us> Administrative Inquiry and include a link to the tutorial. That ought to accomplish it.

Often I've come across a tut - here, on DPC, or on sites like Worthy1K and they are positively ancient by software standards. They refer to using actions in long-obsolete versions in PS which has been upgraded what, a gazillion times since its inception in the 1980s?
So though I may still want to use an old tut to teach me how to do things, the sheer frustration of having to *upgrade* the actions, as you're reading the tut to suit whatever version of PS you're working in, is just immense for people like me. I'm sure by now some have been rendered obsolete altogether or melded in with other actions.
Sadly I don't have a solution to offer here; just venting more than anything. *sigh*... |

The "solution" is for a concerned member to update the information and submit the text to Langdon, in much the same as the way the original text got there.
If you write/rewrite a tutorial you will be "rewarded" with your choice of a month's extension on your membership or a $5 credit at DPC Prints.
Now that you're done with the stairs, and since it'll be months before the sap's running again, you should have plenty of "free time" ... :-)

Well that's just it. I don't really have the PS chops to write or rewrite a tut, I'm the one trying to find well-written/performed tuts that I can understand and follow through to completion, and trust me...they are very few and far between. Samantha and Christophe both have the chops to rewrite tuts, but they both have full-time jobs, spouses and babies (well probably toddler by now in Christophe's case) to keep them busy.
Oh har har...I have a business to run and a house to look after not to mention myself and two kittehs, and Sid the Kid to keep at bay in the CC club and try to enter some challenges...so I'm plenty busy! |
