I got photoshop elements two days ago, and being an incompentent moron I didn't understand most of the user guide. Anyways I was wondering if anyone could tell me if and how I can remove powerlines from a photo.
Thank you

Read about the clone tool and the paint brush tool and you should be set :)

Using the "clone stamp" tool, place your cursor over the spot you want your powerlines to look like, click AND hit the ALT button, then go to the power line and click/paint the lines. You will probably need to reset your "source" point a couple of times, and to set the size of the stamp (pixels) appropriately. Also, you'll have to decide whether you want the clone stamp to have sharp edges or hazy ones (I usually prefer the latter).

If it's a shot for the Vanishing Point challenge, don't forget you can't use the clone tool or any other spot editing for it.
