Unfortunately (depending on your POV), I won't be able to participate this time. I charged batteries and planned to bring one or two of my kids, but today's photo shoot ran late and now I have projects to work on tomorrow. Have fun and post pics. Wide Angle II awaits.

Bummer... Sorry to hear! Of course the bigger question is who is going to run too Connecticut to buy the donuts now?

Haha. Yes it was indeed an awesome day. Now I need to go shower and then copy the almost 1000 pictures off my card onto my comp to see what came out good.

Had a great time yesterday! Even though we had the occasional drop of rain, it was as perfect as could be for shooting the falls. The rain gave the rocks a nice wet look... no harsh sun to create nasty shadows... excellent flow of water!

And a great group of people, too. We had a smaller bunch than usual, but we added a few first-timers, too. Here are a few favorites:

Thanks Alan! These are really great photographs!

I did try to take some and I have it uploaded here. After cleaning up over 700 photographs these are the ones I choose!

I wanted to attend this, but as I mentioned was held back due to work. Great shots folks.

I hope you all had a wonderful meal at TGIF and that no one fell coming down the hill.

Maybe next year for me.

This one I capture when Dave's baby (Nikon 500mm f4 lens) was in Alan's hand :)

Not sure if anyone noticed me recording this. Watch this in HD, it looks good!

And my back is still sore :) Ok, not really... but that is one beast of a lens!
